It seems QPR and AC Milan have worked out a deal for defender Taye Taiwo, but it's unclear whether the Italian club are selling or loaning.

Jan 19, 2012 - Taye Taiwo is on his way from AC Milan to Queens Park Rangers, according to reports in both the Italian and English media. The left-back left Olympique Marseille this summer on a free transfer, but has seen only eight matches in all competitions with Milan, with Max Allegri preferring the likes of Luca Antonini. Mark Hughes, however, is anxious to shore up his rickety defense, and believes Taiwo will help QPR manage to avoid relegation.
The news heated up on Twitter today, as a photo of Taiwo and Hughes made the rounds, and Joey Barton, of course, gave out the information (in a surprisingly unbiased fashion). A deal has apparently been agreed between the London side and the Milan club, although no one seems to know for certain whether it's a loan deal or a full-on purchase. But don't worry; with the transfer window in full swing, we'll surely have another dramatic installment of this saga to bring you.
