You can cross Inter Milan off the list of potential Carlos Tevez destinations. Manchester City's wantaway striker has been linked to Inter, crosstown rivals AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, but with City pushing for a price which seems completely out of alignment with Tevez's wage demands and recent playing time, clubs really aren't that interested. Inter certainly aren't going to play anymore. Says board member Marco Tronchetti:
Now we're no longer interested in Tevez. He is following a different path. Inter have recovered their champions and there is no need to have him or another, even if Tevez remains a great champion.
Since City are now refusing to continue to pay Tevez's salary, they're not really under any pressure to get rid of him, and if they don't get the money they want for their former captain, one suspects that they'd be more than happy to destroy his career instead. The moral of the story is that you should never refuse to play.
