Jan 26, 2012 - Juventus may be the only team in a top European division to have gone unbeaten so far this season, but that doesn't mean that they're not looking for reinforcements. The Turin club's interest in versatile Uruguay defender Martin Caceres has been an open secret for a long time despite his failure to stick in his first stint with the club, and now Sevilla and Juventus have come to an agreement in a loan-to-buy move for the 24-year-old.
Martin Caceres has travelled today to Turin to undergo a medical in the next few hours with Juventus. If the medical is successful, the player will then proceed to sign the documents to become a player of the Italian club.
The deal is believed to be a season-long loan followed by a €10M option to purchase in the summer. Caceres has made 39 appearances for Sevilla since his €3M buy from Barcelona, scoring twice in La Liga.
