Juventus have secured the signature of Sevilla defender Martin Caceres on a season-long loan with an option to buy.

The Turin club's interest in versatile Uruguay defender Martin Caceres has been an open secret for a long time despite his failure to stick in his first stint with the club, and now Sevilla and Juventus have come to an agreement in a loan-to-buy move for the 24-year-old.
Martin Caceres has travelled today to Turin to undergo a medical in the next few hours with Juventus. If the medical is successful, the player will then proceed to sign the documents to become a player of the Italian club.
The deal is believed to be a season-long loan followed by a €10M option to purchase in the summer. Caceres has made 39 appearances for Sevilla since his €3M buy from Barcelona, scoring twice in La Liga.
