Read More: Mame Biram Diouf (F - Manchester United)
Hannover have agreed with Manchester United to take Senegal international Mame Biram Diouf on loan as the striker looks for more regular playing time, or any playing time at all really. Diouf still needs to agree to go on loan, but considering how little playing time he is getting at Old Trafford, it is tough to imagine him not agreeing to go.
Hannover sporting director Jorg Schmadtke confirmed the impending signing on Friday, stating, "we have an agreement with Manchester United, but now the player must give us the okay."
Diouf was a fine striker for Molde before United brought him on, but he never found his footing with the Red Devils and has only played in their three Carling Cup matches this season. The 24-year-old spent last season on loan with Blackburn and how looks set for another loan, this time in Germany. He won't be in for an easy run of matches at Hannover either though. Mohammed Abdellaoue is certainly not about to be displaced as starting striker and even displacing Jan Schlaudraff will be difficult so Diouf isn't in for a run of starts anytime soon.
