Pippo Inzaghi Turns Down Siena, Others To Retire At Milan

AC Milan supporters will surely be thrilled that one of their heroes, Pippo Inzaghi, has turned down offers from other clubs in order to retire in the rossoneri shirt. Siena, freshly returned to Serie A and hovering just a few points above the relegation zone, did their very best to sign Inzaghi, but he just couldn't handle a switch (back) to white and black.

The 38-year-old left Juventus for Milan in 2001, and has scored 72 goals for the club in his eleven seasons. Super Pippo rarely sees the pitch these days, not even being included in Max Allegri's Champions League roster. But he was with the team for two Serie A titles as well as two Champions League trophies. Considering Pippo scored 70 goals in European competition and 315 over the course of his career, there's little wonder that he remains beloved.

Plus, he'll forever remain infamous for his ability to be flagged for offside.
