I regret to inform you that the dream of once again seeing Claudio Marchisio and Alessandro Matri cuddling together in the snow has died a tragic death. Tuesday evening's Serie A match between Parma and Juventus has been called off due to heavy snowfall in Emilia-Romagna. It's been determined that conditions at the Stadio Ennio Tardini are unsafe and the game must be postponed -- although the date of the fixture has not yet been determined.
With Juventus no longer playing this week, AC Milan have the chance to go top of the table with a win over Lazio on Wednesday night. This is the second time this season that Juve have had a match postponed due to adverse weather, with the first coming when heavy rains in Naples forced the delay of the Napoli game.
Now that there's no more Serie A tonight, there's nothing left to do but watch the transfer window slowly creaking closed.
