Read More: Bobby Zamora (F - Queens Park Rangers), Fulham, Queens Park Rangers
The semi-protracted Bobby Zamora transfer saga was finally concluded minutes before the end of Tuesday's transfer deadline, with the striker making the short move from Fulham to Queens Park Rangers, joining Mark Hughes's revolution at Loftus Road. Zamora, who had apparently been reluctant to sign with QPR without receiving a significant increase in his weekly wages, finally managed to work out a deal with his new club and has been introduced as a member of the Hoops.
With Fulham having signed striker Pavel Pogrebnyak from Stuttgart, they were willing to give up the England international, who had spent much of the season feuding with new manager Martin Jol. Zamora has had flashes of brilliance over recent years, but he's been something of a disappointment this season. Hughes will be hoping he and new striker partner Djibril Cisse can form a potent enough attack to see QPR clear of any threat of relegation.
