Everton and USMNT goalkeeper Tim Howard is well known for his goal stopping prowess. Today, he decided to get in on the fun and see what actually scoring a goal felt like.
Early in the second half, Howard unleashed a 95+ yard clearance kick that was caught by the wind swirling around Goodison Park and bounced over the head of Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan for one of the most unlikely goals you'll see all year.

It was all downhill from there for Everton though as the Blues, who lost three players to injury during the match, conceeded twice after Howard's gem and lost at home to the last place team in the Premier League. I doubt Howard will really feel like celebrating his unlikely goal tonight.
I suppose it will be some consolation that Tim Howard now has more career Premier League goals than former USMNT forward Eddie Johnson. Well, probably not, but it's sure fun to bring up and have a laugh about.
