Queens Park Rangers didn't exactly have their best day on Saturday. Sure, they didn't lose to the MK Dons in the 3rd Round FA Cup match, but they didn't win either and it took a very late goal to prevent them from being sent tumbling out of the competition at the first hurdle, and in the process Alejandro Faurlin managed to get himself hurt.
How badly hurt nobody was sure - then manager Neil Warnock (since dismissed) said that they wouldn't know the severity of the problem for one or two days, because Faurlin's knee needed a scan. Well, it's been scanned, so let's let the player himself be the bearer of bad news:
Yep, that's pretty much the worst-case scenario right there. Faurlin had started every Premier League match this season and ranks amongst the most influential players who call Loftus Road home. With QPR mired in a relegation battle that's already cost them their manager, it's incredibly unfortunate that they've lost one of their top midfielders as well. Yikes.
