FC Nordsjælland vs Juventus, 2012 UEFA Champions League: Preview and TV schedule

Juventus face what should be a fairly straightforward away game when they travel to Parken to take on FC Nordsjælland.

Foreign travel aside, Nordsjælland will only be enjoying a nominal home advantage, since they will be playing at Parken rather than their actual home stadium due to the larger capacity.

Juventus may take the opportunity to rest players, but can afford not to, with five days before they travel to Catania on Sunday. They will also be eager to ensure a victory after drawing against both Chelsea and Shakhtar in what will be a fierce 3-way competition for progression to the knockout stages.

With Gianluigi Buffon and Mirko Vucinic returning to the team, Juventus should have the resources to negotiate this one, but there is little margin for error in this group, and the Italian champions will have to be wary.

Nordsjaelland have a relatively clean bill of health, but Ivan Runje and Mikkel Beckmann are probably only good for a place on the bench if passed fit.

Gianluigi Buffon and Mirko Vucinic return from their absences for Juventus and should be available to start the match. Missing Kwadwo Asamoah will be a blow to the Bianconeri, but they are well-stocked in midfield and should be able to cope in the Ghanaian's absence.
