Real Madrid and Pepe have been very fortunate to get away with what looked like a clear penalty against Dortmund.
Mario Gotze - who has been given the freedom of the pitch all game - surged into the Real Madrid area and appeared to be shoved over by Pepe, who charged into him with an extended arm, but the Real Madrid centre-back managed to escape without a foul being given against him.
Pepe has been out of sorts all game, but the complete inability of Luka Modric or Xabi Alonso to track runners hasn't helped, and nor has some pretty awful positioning from Raphael Varane all game. The Portuguese defender has been left to do it on his own on several occasions, and he's not the best in one-on-one situations. If Dortmund can keep isolating him as they have been doing, they'll score again and win this game. At the moment, however, it's still all to play for...
