What's going on in Italy? Well, not much apart from a series of creepily normal-looking football matches.
Normally, when you have a round of games, there's something noteworthy to comment upon. Napoli have trouble with Chievo? Cool, that's interesting. There's a narrative there, even if it is 'Chievo enjoy kicking Marek Hamsik and Napoli fans enjoy whining about it'. This week? Not so much. League-leading Juventus' undefeated record is unlikely to fall at home to Bologna. Atalanta probably won't be too much of a problem for Napoli. Palermo vs. AC Milan would have been interesting a couple of years ago but isn't anymore. So would Inter vs. Sampdoria.
In other words, all we've got on offer is some football. I suppose that's enough. And hey, if nothing else takes your fancy, Roma are worth watching for the sheer lolsiness.
