Copa Sudamericana has reached its quarterfinal stage, and most of the teams that remain are good, fun, or both. Sao Paulo and Universidad de Chile, wo of the teams that are both, are playing each other. This is good because there will be at least one excellent quarterfinal tie, but bad because they can't meet in the final. La U, who are this competition's defending champions, might be the most fun team anywhere in the world at the moment.
Two other matches offer plenty of fun as well. Tuesday night's match between Millonarios and Gremio should feature goals, and Thursday's late game between Independiente and Universidad Catolica is a showdown between teams that are at least entertaining, even though they aren't very good.
And then there's Tigre - Cerro Porteño, which should not exist. Cerro will probably win that tie 1-0, because they're very good on the counter and make other teams chase the game when they can take a lead early. They will take a lead early, because Tigre are arguably the weakest team remaining in this competition.
