Spain travels to Panama in yet another example of the direct correlation between random international friendlies and potential gate receipts
The Spanish national team is coming to Panama for friendly match that in all likelihood means a lot more to the hosts than it does the visitors.
Here they come, full blast and top down...
I bet you didn't know they had a convertable travel bus did you (this statement is not based by factual evidence).
Hot shoe, burnin' down the avenue...
The forecast is around 90 degrees with high humidity. It might not burn your shoes, but it's hot!
Did you know Van Halen's "Panama" wasn't written about the country of Panama, or Panama City, or Panama City Beach in Florida. It was written about a car David Lee Roth saw race in Las Vegas called the Panama Express. Or at least that's what he once told Howard Stern in an interview.
I doubt Spain's head coach Vicente del Bosque has ever heard that song, but you never know. He might be a far more rocking dude that we might think. There's a good chance some of the younger players (like Roberto Soldado, Jesus Navas, Benat and Markel Susaeta) who should be given a chance to play in this match might though.
