Porto were never going to have very much trouble with beating Dinamo Zagreb at home, and, surprise! they did not. One 3-0 win later and we're more or less back to status quo in Group A, with the Primeira Liga side ahead of Paris Saint-Germain by a lone point and nobody else in a position to qualify.
The only strange part was that Zagreb nearly took the lead at the Dragao, hitting the post via Jorge Sammir six minutes before Lucho Gonzalez slammed Joao Moutinho's cutback past Ivan Kelava for a 1-0 lead. Once ahead, the hosts were never likely to drop points, and a pair of second-half goals sealed Dinamo's fate.
Moutinho's wonderful free kick was perhaps the pick of the three, but Silvestre Varela's strike five minutes from time wasn't bad either. Ultimately, this match was about holding serve before Porto's trip to France in a fortnight to determine who'll get top spot and higher seeding in Group A.
