CFR Cluj and Galatasaray will both be looking for a win in their Group H clash as they look to progress to the first knockout round.
New CFR Cluj boss Paulo Sergio begins his first game in charge on Wednesday with a golden opportunity to take his side into the first knockout stage of the Champions League.
With his side second in the group on four points, a victory at home against wobbling Galatasaray would put them in the driving seat for qualification, especially if Braga lose against Manchester United. Progress would be a fantastic acheivement for the Romanian club, and with an almost fully-fit squad, Sergio will be confident that his side have what it takes to get a result.
Galatasaray have had a decent domestic record since appointing Fatih Terim, but they have an astonishingly bad record in Champions League away fixtures, having not won a game on the road in the competition since 2002. With just one point gained in the group so far, defeat here will see them almost certainly doomed to exit the competition.
CFR Cluj injuries and suspensions
In doubt: Rafael Bastos (foot) Modou Sougou (muscular problem).
Galatasaray injuries and suspensions
Out: Johan Elmander (thigh)
Rafael Bastos and Modou Sougou should both be fit to play as Cluj effectively have a clean bill of health, but Johan Elmander will be a big miss for the visitors, picking up a thigh injury which will keep him out for six weeks from the last encounter between the two sides last month.
