Stop me if you've heard this before: Manchester United look completely uninspired against an inferior opponent in the Champions League.
After a half at Braga, United have looked without imagination or ambition, which isn't out of the ordinary for them away. They're happy at the back and content to keep testing Braga's back line in 1v1 battles, which to this point Braga have been up to, at least kind of.
Twice Manchester United have had penalty shouts on handballs, but the referee has given neither. The referee has had good reason to wave the United appeals off, too, with both being inadvertent and debatable in the advantage they gave Braga, but that didn't keep the Red Devils from appealing.
The appeals and possibility of a draw aren't a major problem for United, who can clinch a spot in the knockout stages with a draw, but after last year's European failure, there is reason to be concerned for the Red Devils. They have been getting points, but they have yet to impress. They certainly aren't today either.
