West Ham United (4-4-1-1): Jussi Jaaskelainen; Winston Reid, Joey O’Brien, James Collins, Guy Demel; James Tomkins, Matt Jarvis, Mark Noble, Gary O’Neil; Kevin Nolan; Carlton Cole.
Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Petr Cech; Cesar Azpilicueta, Branislav Ivanovic, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole; John Obi Mikel, Ramires; Juan Mata, Victor Moses, Eden Hazard; Fernando Torres.
West Ham continue with James Tomkins playing in midfield as he lines up alongside Mark Noble and Kevin Nolan for the Hammers. Gary O'Neil is chosen to play on the right, with Matt Jarvis on the left. Most strikingly, there is no Andy Carroll for the home side, with Carlton Cole starting up front.
Chelsea are largely as expected, with Rafael Benitez continuing with the Mikel-Ramires double-pivot in midfield. Victor Moses and Cesar Azpilicueta both start, with Branislav Ivanovic taking the place of David Luiz, who picked up a suspension after receiving a fifth yellow card against Fulham. Ryan Bertrand and Oriol Romeu are the other players replaced.
