Stay connected with SB Nation

The UEFA Europa League draw for the first knockout round is now underway.

There's some nonsense to go through as befits any UEFA ceremony of course, so in the meantime, you'll want to check out our preview here of all the teams that are in it and who could draw who. It's quite complicated as to who is eligible to play what other teams, but fortunately, our guide has gone interactive for the occasion.

Most of the attention will likely be on the four English teams in the competition - Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle. We'll be previewing all of their ties as well as any of the bigger ones that may get drawn, so stay tuned to this thread for updates. As well as the English sides involved, the likes of Napoli, Inter Milan, Leverkusen, Dynamo Kiev, Benfica, Ajax, Atletico Madrid and Zenit St Petersburg could make for some intriguing matchups.
