2013 UEFA Europa League draw: First knockout round in full

Denis Doyle

Liverpool draw Zenit St. Petersburg, Tottenham get Lyon, Chelsea face Sparta Prague and Borussia Monchengladbach get Lazio in the first knockout round.

The Europa League draw for the first round is done, and it's thrown up some interesting ties. Zenit St Petersburg vs. Liverpool is probably the most alluring, but Borussia Monchengladbach vs. Lazio and Tottenham vs. Lyon should also be enticing contests.

BATE Borisov v Fenerbahce

Inter Milan v CFR Cluj

Levante v Olympiakos

Zenit St Petersburg v Liverpool

Dynamo Kiev v Bordeaux

Bayer Leverkusen v Benfica

Newcastle v Metalist Kharkiv

Stuttgart v Genk

Atletico Madrid v Rubin Kazan

Ajax v Steaua Bucharest

Basel v Dnipro

Anzhi Makhachkala v Hannover

Sparta Prague v Chelsea

Borussia Monchengladbach v Lazio

Tottenham v Lyon

Napoli v Viktoria Plzen

Overall, a few interesting ties, but mostly we'll be waiting to the next round before we really get into it. And speaking of which, that draw is coming up now. We'll post the results of that as well as previews of the highlights of the first round of Europa League fixtures here, so stay tuned.
