No Michu? No problem. Danny Graham and Jonathan de Guzman picked up the slack for the Swans as they picked up a massive road victory over Fulham.

With team-leading -- and until Robin van Persie's goal earlier today, league-leading -- scorer Michu, most expected Swansea City to struggle on the road against Fulham. Instead, Danny Graham rose to the occasion, showing off the finishing skills that had him linked to a potential move to a bigger club last season. Fulham pushed hard for an equalizer in the closing stages, but Swansea did well to hold on for a 2-1 win at Craven Cottage.

Graham's opener came in the 19th minute, and it was a real poacher's effort. Nathan Dyer turned a cross on goal, but hit his shot right at David Stockdale. The Fulham keeper made a save, but no one was around to clear the ball and Graham was uncontested in his finish.

Early on in the second half, Jonathan de Guzman doubled his side's lead, with Stockdale partially at fault again. He hit his own defender with an attempted clearance, allowing Swansea to set up a simple finish for de Guzman. Fulham clawed one back shortly afterwards, in the 55th minute, with Dimitar Berbatov setting up Bryan Ruiz for the strike. It's unclear whether the goal will be credited to Ruiz or the man it deflected off of before going into the goal, Sascha Riether. Somewhat controversially, Reither may have been offside when the ball hit him.

In a desperation move to claw their way back into the game, Fulham subbed out tricky winger Kerim Frei for central defender Phillipe Senderos, while moving Hangeland from central defense to center forward. From the 84th minute on, Fulham's attacking strategy was almost exclusively to kick direct balls to the head of Hangeland, and it almost paid off. He won the ball with astounding regularity, but it never generated a clear-cut chance for his side.
