Serie A, this is the gods' way of telling you that they do not like it when you play mid-week fixtures on transfer deadline week. After yesterday's Juventus vs. Parma match was called off due to heavy snow, the league has been forced to postpone two more matches. Bologna vs. Fiorentina and Siena vs. Catania will both have to be pushed back to a later date due to inclement weather. Even though the bad weather occurred yesterday, there hasn't been enough time to get pitches ready for play in time for Wednesday's matches.
Six Serie A matches are scheduled to go forward on Wednesday. They are as follows.
Atalanta vs. Genoa
Cagliari vs. Roma
Inter Milan vs. Palermo
Lazio vs. AC Milan
Napoli vs. Cesena
Udinese vs. Lecce
Most eyes will be on Lazio vs. AC Milan, a massive match in the race for the Scudetto and Champions League places. Every game that is going forward on Wednesday is of some importance in the race for European places.
