Montreal Impact bring back longtime second-division star Eduardo Sebrango.

Fresh off acquiring a pair of young scoring threats on Friday, the Montreal Impact added some veteran experience on Monday with the signing of 38-year-old Eduardo Sebrango. The striker comes to the Impact as the second-leading scorer in North American second-division history, having notched 103 goals and 31 assists in 270 matches. The former Cuban international has spent seven seasons with the Impact during their second-division, winning two titles with them as well as two with Vancouver and one more with the Rochester Rhinos.

"Eduardo has proven during the camp that he can be effective at the next level and we are very pleased to include him in our team for 2012," Impact coach Jesse Marsch said in a team release. "We know he will bring total commitment to this project every day as he did during his whole career."

When healthy, Sebrango has shown a continued nose for goal. Last year, he netted six goals and one assist, but played just 771 minutes.
