Barcelona didn't exactly bring their finishing boots to Camp Nou on Wednesday, but their lack of shooting skills were hardly a hindrance against Valencia. Los Che were very, very poor, and only the combination of Barcelona's poor finishing and some good play by goalkeeper Diego Alves kept the Blaugranas from scoring in the double digits. Barcelona delivered a thorough beating to Valencia, but only found the back of the net twice in a 2-0 win. That score put them through 3-1 on aggregate, and they will face Athletic Bilbao in the Copa Del Rey final.

Cesc Fabregas put Barcelona ahead in the 16th minute with a narrow-angle finish off of a brilliant through ball by Lionel Messi. Barcelona would produce numerous other scoring opportunities and should have had four or five goals by halftime, but couldn't find the back of the net a second time before the break.

The second half transpired much like the first, with Valencia playing poorly and Barcelona failing to convert their chances. Central defenders Adil Rami and Victor Ruiz looked like they had never played together and were bailed out by their goalkeeper and Barcelona's finishing over and over again. In the 76th minute, Sofiane Feghouli was sent off for Los Che, seemingly taking away all chance of an equalizer.

Barcelona ended the tie just five minutes later, when Fabregas set up Xavi for a brilliant second goal, giving the Cules the 3-1 aggregate victory.
