AC Milan Vs. Barcelona, 2012 UEFA Champions League: Antonini Tackle Saves Milan

It's deflections o'clock at the San Siro, apparently. It's also Barcelona crosses-o'clock as the Catalans routinely eviscerate AC Milan's back line. Dani Alves is the latest to whip in a delivery, and Chrisian Abbiati is again fairly happy that the resultant shot takes a strange bounce and ends up looping into his gloves.

At the other end of the pitch, Zlatan Ibrahimovic decides to take on all three Barcelona centre backs and, amazingly, nearly manages it before being thwarted by the wonderfully-maned Carles Puyol, who immediately starts a counterattack which releases Alexis Sanchez straight down the middle. The Chilean looks like he's one-on-one with Abbiati, but Luca Antonini comes out of nowhere with a superb sliding tackle and saves the day for Milan. That was very, very close to the opener.

And then Milan counter, working both sides of the pitch superbly only for Clarance Seedorf to completely mishit an admittedly very difficult volley. This is a good game, incidentally. If you hate defending, anyway.
