DC United Vs. FC Dallas, 2012 MLS: Lineups

Stay connected with SB Nation

The US Under-23 national team lost in Olympic qualifying and won't be going to the Olympics. This really sucks. The good news is that the players who participated in the Under-23 qualifying tournament have returned to their club teams, which should make this contest between D.C. United and FC Dallas a bit better. Bill Hamid is out injured, but Perry Kitchen will start for DC and Brek Shea will start for FC Dallas. I guess they don't need rest. Whatever, kids are malleable, they don't get hurt.

D.C. United Lineup (4-4-2): Willis; Wollard, McDonald, Dudar, Russell; DeLeon, Kitchen, De Rosario, Cruz; Salihi, Santos

FC Dallas Lineup (4-2-3-1): Hartman; Rodriguez, Ihemelu, Pertuz, Loyd; Hernandez, Jacobson; Shea, Villar, Benitez; Perez

DC is apparently feeling ambitious with Dwayne De Rosario in the center of a 4-4-2. Kickoff is just after 7:30 p.m. ET from beautiful, sparkling, flawless Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington, D.C. You can catch the game on NBC Sports Network.
