Seattle Sounders and Santos Laguna are set to kick off shortly, and it looks like both teams are taking the match very seriously, rolling out strong lineups. Here are the starting lineups:
Seattle: Michael Gspurning, Adam Johansson, Jeff Parke, John Kennedy Hurtado, Leo Gonzalez; Brad Evans, Osvaldo Alonso, Alvaro Fernandez, Mauro Rosales; Fredy Montero, David Estrada
Santos: Oswaldo Sanchez; Aaron Galindo, Santiago Hoyos, Jorge Estrada, Osmar Mares; Daniel Luduena, Juan Pablo Rodriguez, Marc Crosas, Herculez Gomez, Christian Suarez, Oribe Peralta
For Seattle, it will be their first competitive match with new goalkeeper Gspurning, who is replacing Kasey Keller. Estrada is getting something of a surprise start considering how little he's played in his career, but he reportedly played very well with Montero in preseason matches and the other options, Sammy Ochoa and Eddie Johnson, are reportedly not ready to start.
Santos, meanwhile, has considerable firepower up front, with top forward Peralta getting the start, alongside American international Gomez. This should be an exciting battle tonight up in Seattle.
