After the tragic death of Piermario Morosini during Livorno's match against Pescara on Saturday, all matches in Italy last weekend were postponed. That meant that there were ten games to fit somewhere into an already busy schedule, so there was some question as to when they'd actually end up being played.
It turns out that the suspended matches will be played on April 24th and 25th, which are the Tuesday and Wednesday after this weekend's round of fixtures. The games to be made up include AC Milan hosting Genoa and Cesena vs. Juventus. The exact schedule is unconfirmed, but will probably be based around next weekend's fixtures, with the teams playing on Saturday or early on Sunday slotted in for Tuesday (the most obvious candidate being Udinese vs. Inter Milan) and the rest on Wednesday.
As of now, it's not clear when the Serie B matches will be replayed, but it's probably safe to assume a similar schedule, since they also have next midweek free.

Despite an autopsy on Monday, there are still no clear answers as to why Piermario Morosini collapsed on the pitch during Livorno's match against Pescara on Saturday. The 25-year-old failed to regain consciousness and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Reports first suggested that Morosini had died from cardiac arrest, but later it emerged that a clash of heads with another player had possibly triggered an aneurysm. However, the coroner could find no clear cause of death, meaning that further investigation will follow -- even a toxicology report.
In happier news, Udinese, Morosini's parent club, have announced they will look after Mario's sister, who is seriously ill and relied upon the player for financial support. Their parents died years ago and their brother committed suicide, so it is Udinese who will step in and care for his sister for the rest of her life.
Finally, Livorno will retire Mario's number, 25, as will Vicenza, where he also played.

On April 14, in the 31st minute of the match against Pescara, Livorno midfielder Piermario Morosini collapsed of an apparent heart attack. He was pronounced dead upon arrival to the hospital.
The death of a 25-year-old athlete will always shock and sadden. In this instance, however, the question remains of whether Mario could have been saved. A police car was parked in the wrong place at the Stadio Adriatico, leading to a delay of the arrival of the ambulance. Players from both sides rushed to grab the stretcher, forcing it through to Morosini.
The city of Pescara has opened an inquiry into the incident, but it may never be known if the delay in treatment had an effect on Morosini. Mario was revived at one point, but in the ambulance, the crew could do nothing. A pacemaker was introduced when he reached the hospital, but he was already gone.
Although first reports suggested the cause of death to be cardiac arrest, it is now thought an aneurysm may be the reason for Morosini's collapse. The reason can only be confirmed through the autopsy. Either way, Damiano Tommasi, president of the Players' Association, has called for a meeting to discuss stricter testing of players.

All Serie A matches in Round 33, and the remaining matches in Serie B, have been postponed due to the death of Piermario Morosini, who collapsed on Saturday during the match between Livorno and Pescara. In memory of Piermario, the FIGC has suspended all matches.
The midfielder, 25 years old, collapsed of an apparent heart attack 31 minutes into the match, and had died by the time the ambulance reached the hospital. Such a tragedy is not just a loss to his family and friends, to his teammates, or even to Livorno. The loss will be felt by the entire calcio community, from Entella Chiavari to AC Milan. Nothing could be more appropriate this weekend than setting aside team colors, calling off matches, and showing strength in unity in the face of the death of Morosini.
So use those hours you would be settling back and watching calcio to connect with a loved one. Please.
