Alexis Sanchez played a decent game for Barcelona against Chelsea on Wednesday night, but as we noted earlier, he had an unlucky day. He's missed two golden chances to score for Barcelona and he'll be extremely disappointed in himself for not converting either of them. Sensing that it's not Sanchez's day, but that his team is looking decent, Pep Guardiola has opted to make the closest thing to a like-for-like substitution possible.
Pedro Rodriguez has entered the game for Sanchez in the 67th minute, and that doesn't represent any kind of tactical change for Barcelona. He'll likely slot right in as a left forward, running all over the place like Barcelona forwards do. It's been a poor year in the league for Pedro, but he does have four Champions League goals in five starts and three substitute appearances.
