The referee granted a penalty and Lionel Messi -- who has never scored against Chelsea -- stepped up.
Incredibly, he failed to score, and he didn't even force Petr Cech into a save.
Surely there is some kind of hex on the goal that prevents Messi from scoring ... okay, probably not. But if that is the case, we'll have compelling evidence at the end of this game.
