Up until this weekend's impressive 3-0 win over Getafe, Atletico Madrid have been unimpressive in La Liga. This form, combined with the away goal that Mame Biram Diouf bagged in the first leg of this tie, having them looking vulnerable. Coming into this tie, Hannover 96 were slight underdogs, but they might be the slight favorites heading into the second leg on Thursday.

Atletico lead 2-1 on aggregate, but Hannover have to like their position. They have been simply unstoppable at home in both the Bundesliga and Europa League, as opposed to their very average road form. Arda Turan, Juanfran and Gabi are all injured for Atleti, while Hannover are coming off of an impressive 2-1 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach. Almost everyone is available for Hannover, with Lars Stindl a slight doubt.
