The Inevitable Joey Barton Post

Stay connected with SB Nation

One of the key moments in Sunday's battle between Manchester and Queens Park Rangers (you know, the one whose last five minutes decided the title race and ended up being probably the greatest Premier League game in recent memory) came when, at 1-1, QPR captain Joey Barton was shown red for a foul on Carlos Tevez.

If you don't know Joey Barton, I'll let him introduce himself via Twitter. Take it away, Joey:

That's right. Joseph 'Joey; Barton, noted paci... oh.

It's important to note that Barton's unprovoked attack on Sergio Aguero came after he had already been sent off for elbowing Carlos Tevez in the head.
