The MLS season is moving quickly and it. is. weird.

This is week 12. How did that happen so quickly? Life, slow down because this is moving too quickly and it's too confusing. Next thing you know the Galaxy will be an awful team, the worst team in the world will play in MLS and Brek Shea will be kicking the ball at referees. Oh, wait...

New York Red Bulls vs. Chivas USA

Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. ET, Univision Deportes

It's New York vs. Los Angeles! Can you feel the excitement!

Pick: New York, 1-0.

Chicago Fire vs. FC Dallas

Wednesday, 8:30 p.m. ET, MLS Live

Did we forget that the Fire are actually pretty good, slash not really bad? And at the same, FCD is really not good. At some point those tables actually mean something and say something about the quality of teams. The time is now.

Pick: Chicago, 2-0.

Seattle Sounders vs. Columbus Crew

Wednesday, 10:00 p.m. ET, MLS Live

A draw in San Jose looks like a good result for Columbus, and it is, but don't be fooled -- they got outplayed. It was not a turning point game or a statement game or an anything game besides an Andy Gruenebaum was sensational game. Unless Gruenebaum plans on being the best goalkeeper in the league for the rest of the season, the Crew are still the Crew and the Sounders are still the Sounders, which is to say Seattle is vastly superior.

Pick: Seattle, 2-0.

LA Galaxy vs. San Jose Earthquakes

Wednesday, 10:30 p.m. ET, MLS

"I told you all before the season that the Galaxy would be bottom of the Western Conference and the Quakes would be a Supporters' Shield contender, but noooooooo, you wouldn't listen," said no one ever.
