The final Premier League match for Wolves at the Molineux (at least for now) was a dire affair. Neither side found the net, despite plenty of chances for Everton, as the two sides played to a scoreless draw.
Wolves did manage to avoid a dubious place in the record books by avoiding their 14th home loss of the season, a mark held by Sunderland. They also damaged the Toffees chances of a seventh place finish.
Everton had the better chances throughout the match and actually twice put the ball past Dorus De Vries, but in both cases the offside flag denied them. Wolves best chance came in the 26th minute when Christophe Berra headed a Stephen Hunt free-kick just over the bar.
The point is the first for Wolves at home since December.
