Denmark and Portugal were in the same Euro qualification group and the Danes topped the group. The Danes also beat the Portuguese as recently as October, going ahead 2-0 before giving up an insignificant goal in stoppage time. So why are Portugal the favorites, even after Denmark beat the Netherlands in their Euro opener? Good question.
Lines: Denmark, +1/2 (-105). Portugal, -1/2 (-115).
Odds: Denmark, +325. Portugal, -115. Draw, +235.
Over/Under: Over 2, -145. Under 2, +125.
It might not be a bad idea to sit on this one for a while. The line has been going further and further towards Portugal so see if you can get even better odds on Denmark, then take the Danes. Cristiano Ronaldo could very well win this one on his own, but an entire qualifying cycle does not lie. Denmark has quality, they have a defense that can key in on Ronaldo without a Portuguese striker to worry about and the well-rounded Danish midfielders will give the Portuguese midfielders trouble. Go Denmark.
The odds on the over/under suck because it is going over and paying out terribly. Still, it's going over so take it.
