The match-fixing scandal didn't look to bother the Italians at all in their opener and it is best to pretend like it didn't happen because it doesn't look like it will affect much. Well, there is one thing it affects and that is the Italians' left-side, where they sorely miss Dominic Criscito. Darijo Srna could have a field day on the right against him, but even with that spot looking like an advantage for the Croats, the edge has to go to the Italians. Pirlo and Antonio Cassano shouldn't have much problem breaking down a slow Croatian defense. If you're still feeling iffy on the Italians then a draw is a good bet, but the edge here is certainly to Italy.
You're also probably smart betting the over. Expecting the Croatian defense to hold up is asking for a lot and their best chance is probably Mario Balotelli being wasteful. When that is the case and the over/under is two, take the over.
