Sweden and England is going to be a booooooore. On one side you have a Swedish midfield that couldn't put much together last match and on the other you have an English team that doesn't even pretend that they are trying to be creative. That's not a knock on England or a cry of "anti-football, they are ruining the game and don't know the right way to play" because it is fine and what they have to do to win. But nobody has to get excited for it. The Swedes have Zlatan Ibrahimovic though!
Lines: England, -1/2 (+115). Sweden, +1/2 (-135).
Odds: England, +115. Sweden, +240. Draw, +225.
Over/Under: Over 2.5, +120. Under, -140.
With the way that Sweden looked in their opener, it's tough to see them managing much through the middle, but they have one hope - Scott Parker. The Spurs midfielder was tremendous in England's opener, but he has been hobbled for months now and looked out of gas at the end of the match. Now he's being asked to come back on short rest and do it again because the English need him to be excellent or they are a mess in the center. Door open for Sweden, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic snatches them a point. The draw, especially at +225 is a smart bet here. Sweden, with the half-point isn't bad either, but the -135 isn't appealing.
Few expect this to open up with Roy Hodgon's England team set on defending, but don't be scared of the over. Both teams really need a win here to put them in a good position to advance and will probably open up in search of it. Even England.
