We're up and running at the National Stadium in Warsaw, where the Czech Republic and Portugal are kicking off the first quarterfinal of Euro 2012. The Czechs got here by winning Group A despite getting hammered in the opening match; Portgual managed to beat out Denmark to emerge as Group B's runners up. That's not to say that the former are favoured, however - Portugal should win this one pretty handily.
Shoulds are no guarantee, however, and it's the Czechs who've looked the better side early on. They're putting some pretty intense pressure on the Portugal midfield and Cristiano Ronaldo and company don't quite look settled yet. Give them some time to assert themselves and things will get back to normal in short order, I'm sure.
