Pipe Dream: Super Mario Bros. Fans Rally Italy To Victory

Thursday's semifinal match between Germany and Italy in the 2012 Euro tournament was a thrilling affair, made even more lively by the colorful fans of both sides. Italy fans were out in full force and definitely won the costume contest. (There was a costume contest, right?) A pair of Italy supporters plumbed the depth of their imaginations and almost certainly helped secure the victory for their team.

These enterprising gentlemen were most likely responsible for the resulting 2-1 Italy win.

These two gents brought a little Mario Sunshine to the proceedings, and were certainly no Shyguys as they supported their team to the fullest.
