Poland Vs. Greece, Euro 2012: Match Underway In Warsaw

Euro 2012 is officially underway, with Poland and Greece kicking off the tournament's opening match in Warsaw. Things are kicking off in style; both of these countries have objectively awesome national anthems. The National Stadium is very loud, and it's going to be tough on Greece.

Early on, Poland are dropping deep and letting Greece attempt to play the ball out of the back. The Greeks are looking for Giorgos Karagounis, but they're not finding him. This is good for Poland, but there's something about their tactics that kind of inherently doesn't make sense. If they're sitting back and making Greece bypass the midfield, they're not going to get much out of their biggest mismatch, right back Lucas Piszczek against Greece left winger Giorgos Samaras. It'll be worth watching their battles on both ends of the pitch throughout the match.
