Despite reported offers from Juventus, it appears that Mattia Destro will be a Roma player next season.

Reports out of Italy suggest that Siena striker Mattia Destro will soon complete his move to AS Roma. The youngster is currently in Rome for meetings with the club, but his teammate Massimo Paci told Sky Sports Italia that Destro has already made his decision.

Just 20 years old, Destro was the top scorer at Siena last season, scoring 12 goals in 30 appearances in what was his first year with the club. Genoa, his former club which retained co-ownership of the player, reached an agreement with the robur for full ownership rights, but it looks as though Destro has his eyes set on loftier heights. If the deal with Roma falls through, Juventus are also calling, offering the chance at Champions League play.

However, Genoa president Enrico Preziosi insists there's no offer from the Old Lady. It looks like it's Rome for Destro, so now we simply sit and wait for official confirmation.
