The MLS All-Star Game is finally here. I know, contain your excitement.
In all honesty, if you are looking for some men's soccer action today and can't get the Brasileiro on your glowing moving picture box then the All-Star Game is for you. Well, that and the Liverpool vs. Roma friendly that is on before it, but let's stay focused on the All-Star Game for your soccer fix.
The best part about this exhibition is that it doesn't matter. What if the MLS team gives up four goals? Nothing, but they have to go out and try to score five. That's pretty much how this game works. It's a shootout, and when the match means absolutely nothing that can be a good thing.
Speaking of entertaining, there is David Luiz. He could entertain by gifting the MLS team a goal in the most spectacular way or show off more skill than you have ever seen from a central defender and score a blinder for Chelsea. This is going to be fun.
