Within minutes of the news breaking that Manchester United and Arsenal had agreed to a deal that would send the Dutch striker to Old Trafford, noted Arsenal supporter and general blowhard Piers Morgan was tweeting. As we all know, it's never a good idea to tweet so soon after an emotional moment in your life, but Piers apparently doesn't believe in that.

As if that wasn't enough, a couple well known Manchester United players decided to add their two cents to Morgan's Twitter meltdown. No one was safe, not RVP, not Ivan Gazdis, not Wayne Rooney, not Samir Nasri, not even Ashley Cole. Full scorched earth behavior here. What follows is the chronicle of a grown man having a meltdown in a public forum while the world sits back and laughs.
