Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the capture of 25-year-old Belgian midfielder Moussa Dembele, announcing via Twitter that they've agreed a deal with Fulham and that Dembele is on his way to White Hart Lane:
We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Fulham for the transfer of Mousa Dembele. More details to follow.

There appears to be some confusion over how many 's'es Moussa's name contains, but at any rate, this brings to a close what was, happily, a phenomenally short transfer saga. With Spurs suddenly finding themselves moneyed in the wake of selling Luka Modric to Real Madrid, they were happy to meet Fulham's price for Dembele, who would have been out of contract at the end of the season in order to reinforce their midfield.
As for Fulham, they're now flush with cash and may need to scramble fast for a replacement. Following a great start to the season that's seen them demolish Norwich City before a narrow, impressive loss at Old Trafford, the Cottagers will be looking for a midfield partner for Mahamadou Diarra, and it's not entirely clear that such a name is already on the squad.
