Florent Malouda has revealed on his Twitter account that he has been made to train with Chelsea's Under-21 players for the season.

Florent Malouda has revealed on his official Twitter account that he has been made to train with Chelsea's Under-21s as his exile from Chelsea's senior squad continues. Malouda was omitted from Chelsea's 22-man Champions League squad, and has not been selected for any matchday squads in any competition this season, an isolation that looks set to continue following the revelation.

The French winger was rumoured to be signing for Brazilian club Santos in the transfer window, but the move did not materialise, allegedly due to the midfielder's hefty wage demands.

The winger tweeted the news, attaching a photo of Chelsea's Under-21 training facilities:

It looks unlikely that the 32-year-old will be getting any first-team action between now and January, when he is likely to be sold in the transfer window.
