Southampton vs. Chelsea: Lineups

Chelsea name a virtually full-strength squad as they travel to fellow Premier League side Southampton in the FA Cup.

Demba Ba makes his first appearance for the club in the starting lineup, in front of Juan Mata, Eden Hazard and Victor Moses. David Luiz continues in midfield, forming an unconventional double-pivot with Ramires. Ross Turnbull continues in goal in place of the injured Petr Cech.

Southampton meanwhile give starts to James Ward-Prowse, Julio Do Prado and the 17-year-old Luke Shaw. James Rodriguez leads the line up front for the Saints while Artur Boruc continues in goal despite recent nervy displays in the Premier League.

Southampton: Artur Boruc, Jack Cork, Jose Fonte, Maya Yoshida, Luke Shaw, Jason Puncheon, Steven Davis, Morgan Schneiderlin, James Ward-Prowse, Julio Do Prado, James Rodriguez.

Chelsea: Ross Turnbull, Cesar Azpilicueta, Branislav Ivanovic, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole, Ramires, David Luiz, Juan Mata, Eden Hazard, Victor Moses, Demba Ba.

Brighton and Hove Albion vs. Newcastle United: Lineups

Newcastle take the opportunity to rest several key players as they travel south to face Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup.

Rob Elliott, James Tavernier, Gabriel Obertan, Mehdi Abeid and Sammy Ameobi all come into the Newcastle starting XI, along with talented youngster Gael Bigirimana. Alan Pardew will probably make the cup lower on his list of priorities as his side continue to struggle for form in the Premier League, and there could be a real danger of an upset here.

Brighton line up with the dangerous Craig Mackail-Smith up front, backed up by Ashley Barnes. Manchester City loanee Wayne Bridge is at left-back, while Liam Bridcutt and Dean Hammond are in midfield.

Brighton and Hove Albion (4-4-2): Casper Ankergren; David Lopez, Gordon Greer, Adam El-Abd, Wayne Bridge; Liam Bridcutt, Dean Hammond, Gary Dicker, Andrea Orlandi; Ashley Barnes, Craig Mackail-Smith

Newcastle United (4-2-3-1): Rob Elliot; James Tavernier, Mike Williamson, James Perch, Davide Santon; Vurnon Anita, Gael Bigirimana; Gabriel Obertan, Mehdi Abeid, Sammy Ameobi; Shola Ameobi.
