Crystal Palace vs. Arsenal: Lineups

Shaun Botterill

Arsenal welcome back Mathieu Flamini to their starting eleven, but at the expense of Jack Wilshere, who drops to the bench as the league leaders travel to Selhurst Park.

Mathieu Flamini returns to the starting lineup for Arsenal, but Jack Wilshere is relegated to the substitutes bench, and Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remain unavailable.

Aaron Ramsey partners Flamini in midfield along with Mikel Arteta, with Mesut Ozil out wide with Santiago Cazorla. Kieran Gibbs continues at left-back. Per Mertesacker partners Laurent Koscielny at centre-back.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace start life without Ian Holloway by naming former Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh leading the line, with Barry Bannan coming into midfield along with Kagisho Dikgacoi and Mile Jedinak. Jonny Williams and Glenn Murray remain on the long-term absentee list with injuries.

Crystal Palace starting lineup (4-3-3): Julian Speroni; Joel Ward, Damien Delaney, Danny Gabbidon, Dean Moxey; Mile Jedinak, Kagisho Dikgacoi, Barry Bannan; Jerome Thomas, Adlene Guedioura, Marouane Chamakh.

Arsenal starting lineup (4-3-3): Wojciech Szczesny, Bacary Sagna, Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, Kieran Gibbs, Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla, Olivier Giroud.
