Real Madrid vs. Sevilla: Preview and TV schedule

Denis Doyle

Real Madrid will look to bounce back from their loss to Barcelona in Saturday's Clásico as they welcome Sevilla to the Bernabéu.

Getting back on track is the priority for Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid after they were defeated by Barcelona on Saturday. The loss now has Los Blancos nine points behind the league leaders after Barca's victory on Tuesday.

Angered by what they feel was poor officiating in the Clásico, Madrid are eager to bounce back and stay close to both their biggest rivals at the top of the table. Xabi Alonso could make the bench for the first time since offseason surgery that has kept him sidelined for the first ten weeks of the season. Madrd have defeated Sevila in eight of their last nine meetings.

For Unai Emery's side started the season win-less in five games but have gone unbeaten over their last five. It's a turnaround that has both relieved pressure on Emery and helped Sevilla climb back into the top half of the table.
