Title contenders Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea all won their League Cup matches this week, but none were awarded with easy draws. All three will have to go away from home in the quarterfinals.
City got the easiest draw of the bunch, as they drew the only second division side left in the tournament. They'll head to Leicester in the next round. United go to Stoke, while Chelsea will play the winner of the tie between Sunderland and Southampton. Tottenham Hotspur needed penalties to beat Hull City and were rewarded with a home game against London rivals West Ham.
Sunderland and Southampton did not play this week and will contest their tie next week. The quarterfinals will be played the week of December 16.
